DON FAULKNER

Don Faulkner is a lovely Yorkshireman from Sheffield. He joined up in 1941 shortly after his 18th birthday, serving eventually with the 48th RTR in North Africa and Italy. In later life he made pilgrimages to the places where he once fought and wrote down his recollections, together with some poems, which are also featured here.
